OHM Gaming Starleague (for Filthy Casuals)


We're excited to finally announce the OHM Gaming Starleague (for Filthy Casuals)! The Thanksgiving Charity LAN tournament was such a success and brought in so much new interest in Starcraft 2 from our members that we wanted to start a league for our new players. Here it is! Matches will be cast every Wednesday, either live or by replay, and participants will be eligible for free coaching from our Diamond and Master's players. Details below:

Rules

Eligibility

Open to all Gold, Silver, and Bronze players. Must have placement matches completed before tournament begins.

Note, no smurf accounts will be tolerated. Players found to be smurfing will be immediately removed from the league.

Format

Two 8 player round robin groups. All matches Bo3 until finals (Bo5).

Top 4 from each group advance to double elimination playoff bracket.

We will attempt to balance the two groups based on league placements.

Duration

10 weeks. Each player will have 1 match per week.

First 2 winner's rounds will be played in week 9.

Semi-Finals and Finals will be played in week 10.

Maps

All maps in the current Blizzard Ladder map pool are eligible.

The lower ranked player will pick the first map, and each map after will be picked by the loser of the previous game.

Maps may be played more than once per series.
